Home Away From Home
A Cascade View Bed & Breakfast is a crossroads between a small, elegant hotel and the welcoming home of a friend. It combines the functionality of hotel accommodations with the warmth of a good friend. You have your own space in addition to the public areas of the home. You are invited to enjoy the Guest Sitting Room - it's a comfortable room for all of our guests with TV/VCR, library, patio with garden accessibility, a wet bar and small refrigerator. It is also set-up for making tea and hot chocolate at times other than breakfast.
For the business traveler, you are just minutes from Seattle, or the Microsoft campus in Redmond or Bellevue and have a wireless home in which to conduct business or stay in touch with family.

Marianne and Bill Bundren

Marianne Bundren, formerly a Special Education Teacher, enjoys family events, gardening, knitting, music, great books and entertaining her guests. In everything she does, Marianne radiates warmth and gracious hospitality. She also hosted a radio show for 12 years called "Folksounds", featuring Acoustic Folk Music every Tuesday evening at 8pm on KBCS-FM at Bellevue Community College. She now devotes her time to serving her guests and studies of Piano as well as a variety of other interests.

Bill Bundren, having seen most of the world as a ship’s Captain decided that home was a good place to work. He became a Puget Sound Ship’s Pilot and safely guided ships in and out of Puget Sound. He retired after working in the capacity for 26 years. He now serves as the resident teller of sea stories.

The Garden Room is very spacious and features the quiet elegance of a luxurious queen size bed, firm and supportive mattress and a downy duvet. The full ensuite bath, gas log fireplace, TV and private patio add comfortable privacy to your stay. Read a book, watch TV or just absorb the beauty of your surroundings in the wonderfully comfortable chairs.

Rose Room

The Rose Room features warm and soft touches with a cozy rose-decorated comforter on a lovely white enameled queen sized bed, an antique dresser and finished oak secretary.     Breakfast

    Breakfast is usually served in our large kitchen with a beautiful view to our garden and the Cascade Mountains towering to the east. We serve breakfast between 7-9am to accommodate business travelers as well as tourists to our area. Your breakfast begins with a choice of juice, an egg dish with fresh and home-made muffins, a fresh fruit dish and either coffee or tea. On alternate days, you may expect pancakes, quiches or waffles along with uncured bacon, sausage or ham.

    I truly believe that your breakfast can be healthy, delicious and beautifully presented.

    Driving North & from the Airport:
    Follow the signs to freeways out of SeaTac, and take 405 North. Go to 520 East toward Redmond and exit immediately at 124th NE. Turn left onto Northup Way, left at 130th NE, and right onto NE 24th. Turn left onto 134th NE and then right at NE 27th Street. Follow the road as it curves to the right to the end at a yellow and gray home with a dark shingled roof.


    Driving South:
    From 405 take the NE 70th exit. Turn right onto NE 70th, and right onto 132nd NE. 132nd NE becomes 134th NE. Turn left at NE 27th Street, and follow the road as it curves to the right to the end at a yellow and gray home with a dark shingled roof.
